Battersea Power Station will be connected to the north bank of the River Thames by a £40M “green bridge” open to pedestrians and cyclists, according to design plans. The preferred location of the Nine Elms Pimlico bridge, recommended by a design team appointed by Wandsworth Council, crosses the river between Grosvenor Road riverbank on the north side of the Thames at Pimlico and Kirtling Street, near Battersea Power Station in Nine Elms on the south side.
