Find out more about Nine Elms Park, a new green linear park for London with the virtual consultation event on Wednesday, 16 June between 10:00 – 11:00. Nine Elms Park is a new green linear park for London. Wandsworth Council has worked with local developers, landowners, designers and UCL to develop a cohesive design and London’s first innovative POPS (Privately Owned Public Space) Charter to help secure this outdoor space for leisure and wellbeing. The landscaped 4.5 hectare linear park will start near Battersea Power Station in the west and run east towards Vauxhall, with additional public realm adjoining throughout the area.

Chaired by Peter Murray, Curator-in-Chief at New London Architecture, guest speakers include:

The panel will discuss the creation of open space as an integral part of one of Europe’s largest regeneration projects and how Wandsworth Council is working with partners to open up new public areas of Nine Elms for the first time.

Discussions will look at what it takes to achieve an open space project of this scale and how publicly-accessible open spaces embedded in the Nine Elms masterplan are part of the neighbourhood’s vision, caring for residents, visitors and future generations.
