‘Arrivals + Departures’ by artists YARA + DAVINA takes the recognisable form of a train station or airport arrivals and departures board to explore birth, death and the journey in between. The outdoor artwork, presented by Battersea Arts Centre and produced by Artsadmin, will be in place from 5 – 16 July outside One Embassy Gardens, just off Nine Elms Lane.

The artwork gives an opportunity for everyone to acknowledge and share stories of those who may have arrived and departed in our lives – and anyone is invited to contribute names of people who have had a significant impact on their life. Names may range from the personal to the political, from unsung personal heroes to local historical figures, as a way of acknowledging, celebrating and commemorating them.
