Welcome to the eighth issue of the Block E, F, G Community Update. It is our aim to keep you, the community, informed of forthcoming activities and progress with regular publications.
Project Update
Following the neighbourhood community forum held on 1st August, we have committed to providing bi- weekly updates whilst the community meetings will now be held on a monthly basis, with the next one to be held on 30th August.
The excavation works of the Gasholder are continuous, with 1⁄2 being backfilled and reinstated to ground level. The remainder of the Gasholder is anticipated to be excavated, infilled and completed in the coming weeks. Excavation of Block G basement is now completed and we are progressing into Block F basement footprint. The drainage and utility ducting installation along the Post Office Way and Block G is on-going. Piling works are on-going within blocks E, F & G.
We remain committed to ensuring nuisance is kept to a minimum and are continuously reviewing and adjusting our working practises.
