R&F Nine Elms Weekly Update – Friday 16 September 2022

Please see below a summary of upcoming works taking place at the R&F One Nine Elms site and Phase 2 of Thames City.
As you may be aware, the crane dismantling works and associated road closures which had been planned for last weekend have been postponed following the passing of Her Majesty the Queen.
These works are now expected to take place on the weekend of Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 September, and more details will be included in next week’s update.
Please note, both the One Nine Elms and Thames City sites will be closed on Monday 19 September to allow our colleagues to pay their respects to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Our thoughts and condolences are with The Royal Family.

- Fit out works continue up to Level 39.
- Mechanical and electrical installation ongoing up to Level 42.
City Tower
- Façade installation continues up to Level 38.
- Fit out works ongoing on Level 32.
- Mechanical and electrical installation up to Level 45.
Hotel
- Continued fit out works up to Level 14.
- Mechanical and electrical installation up to Level 12.
- Basement drylining works will continue.
Works planned for Saturday 17 (1pm to 6pm) and Sunday 18 September (10am to 6pm):
- Saturday 17 September – installation of façade and lifting of materials from deliveries using tower/hoists (1pm to 4pm).
- Saturday 17 September – works to tower cranes (including preparation for removal of crane next weekend), common tower and hoists (1pm to 6pm).
- Sunday 18 September – works to tower cranes (including preparation for removal of crane next weekend), common tower and hoists (10am to 6pm).
Out of hours works planned for Tuesday 20 to Friday 23 September
- Installation of façade, lifting of materials from deliveries using tower cranes and hoists and concreting pouring (6pm to 8pm).
- Delivery and installation of pods (6pm to midnight).
| Upcoming works at Thames CityPhase 2 (Nine Elms Lane side of the site)Contractors Mace have now completed main works on the N6 building and remaining activity involves the commissioning of building systems and snagging.

Out of Hours Works
The Environment Enforcement Officer has authorised any out of hours works for the Regulatory Services Partnership Serving the London Boroughs of Merton, Richmond upon Thames and Wandsworth.
The Council has approved a Section 61 application for extended working hours this coming week on the One Nine Elms site. Extended hours have been approved for the installation of façade, lifting of materials from deliveries using tower cranes, removal of tower cranes, common tower and hoists, concrete pours as well as delivery of pods.
These works will take place between:
- Saturday 17 September – 1pm to 6pm
- Sunday 18 September – 10am to 6pm
- Tuesday 20 to Friday 23 September – 6pm to midnight
