Dear Neighbour

Please see below a summary of upcoming works taking place at the R&F One Nine Elms site.

Please note the planned crane dismantling works, which had been scheduled to take place this weekend, will now take place on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 October owing to the London Marathon taking place on Sunday 2 October.

Road closures will be in place to enable the works to take place, with Wandsworth Road scheduled to be closed in both directions from the Vauxhall Gyratory to Miles Street. Further details will be included in next week’s update.

Upcoming works at One Nine Elms
River Tower

  • Continued fit out works, including mechanical and electrical installations.

City Tower

  • Façade installation continues on the exterior of the building.
  • Continued fit out works, including mechanical and electrical installations.

Hotel

  • Continued fit out works, including mechanical and electrical installations.
  • Basement drylining works.

Works planned for Saturday 1 (1pm to 6pm) and Sunday 2 October (10am to 6pm):

  • Saturday 24 September – installation of façade and lifting of materials from deliveries using tower/hoists (1pm to 4pm).
  • Saturday 24 September – works to tower cranes (including preparation for removal of crane next weekend), common tower and hoists (1pm to 6pm).
  • Sunday 25 September – works to tower cranes (including preparation for removal of crane next weekend), common tower and hoists (10am to 6pm).

Out of hours works planned for Monday 3 to Friday 7 October

  • Installation of façade, lifting of materials from deliveries using tower cranes and hoists and concreting pouring  (6pm to 8pm).
  • Delivery and installation of pods (6pm to midnight).
Works at Thames City
Phase 2 (Nine Elms Lane side of the site)Contractors Mace have now completed main works on the N6 building and remaining activity involves the commissioning of building systems and snagging.

We will provide further updates on any significant activity.

Out of Hours Works
The Environment Enforcement Officer has authorised any out of hours works for the Regulatory Services Partnership Serving the London Boroughs of Merton, Richmond upon Thames and Wandsworth.

The Council has approved a Section 61 application for extended working hours this coming week on the One Nine Elms site. Extended hours have been approved for the installation of façade, lifting of materials from deliveries using tower cranes, removal of tower cranes, common tower and hoists, concrete pours as well as delivery of pods.

These works will take place between:

    • Saturday 1 October – 1pm to 6pm
    • Sunday 2 October – 10am to 6pm
    • Monday 3 to Friday 7 October – 6pm to midnight
