The EGRA Committee are currently working with EG Management and the EG community to put together a social events calendar for the whole year. Your support is invaluable for these events, to ensure their success and help build our EG community. If you have any ideas or wish to contribute to the running of these events, then please contact a member of the EGRA committee.
A sample of some of our previous events across a typical year are listed below, as inspiration for future events.
Residents clearly didn’t want to leave Christmas parties behind with a mixologist, chef and deep house music playlists rocking a champagne, espresso martini and picante drinks alongside homemade pizza.
Our popstars event was held in May – the Eurovision song contest final in the Beckett Lounge. A good time was had by all and it was nice to see some new faces; we’re all looking forward to meeting more of you at future events, so please do come when you can.
A small number of residents came together in the Beckett Lounge to watch the nights events unfold. Drama and suspense with some healthy debate kept us entertained until the early hours of the morning. Thank you to Lesley for allowing us to stay in the Beckett Lounge into the wee hours of the morning.
Residents were delighted to join Ballymore’s fashion show by EVARAE for the Embassy Gardens Summer Party where the sipped cocktails and champagne alongside discovering the new resort collection inspired by Capri and Sicily – and perhaps just as inspired by the buzz of Embassy Gardens joining the Nine Elms community!
Thank you to everyone who attended and made our first summer party at EG such a fantastic evening. Although a typical British summers rainy day, it didn’t deter you all coming and enjoying the music, comedy, food and drink. Entertainment was provided by Emma Finlay and her trio of musicians and Darren O’Toole, putting a smile on everyone’s face. It was a great opportunity to meet neighbours and friends, and introduce everyone to the Residents Association. The next event is currently being planned, so keep checking the website for updates.
September: Macmillan Coffee Morning in New Union Square
Thank you to everyone who contributed their time, cakes and money. We would also like to thank Black Cab Coffee, Johns and Co, Nine Elms Tavern and Atami for their generosity. Together everyone raised £1015.20!
Come October, how could the month go by, without friends and neighbours from across Embassy Gardens joining together for a spooky spectacular party!
