Darby’s is somewhere for all of life’s occasions, from a post-work catch up over a pair of negronis to a masterful blowout! We believe life is to be lived to the fullest. Their NYC inspired oyster bar, large open grill and bakery are stacked to the rafters with the best ingredients they have at their fingertips from across Britain and Ireland.

Their goal was to create the quintessential neighbourhood joint. For Darby’s, that means the best daily bread and pastries made using British heritage grains and a celebration of craft from the kitchen, through to the bar obsessing over the best quality ingredients from their beloved purveyors.  Coming from a neighbourhood restaurant background, having opened The Dairy, Sorella and Counter Culture in Clapham, Darby’s are taking all that they have learned since their first opening in 2013 and bring it to Embassy Gardens. Their kitchen pays as much respect to nature as is possible by sourcing directly from farms and buying whole animals for their butchery and ageing onsite. Darby’s are cooking large cuts over fire which means plenty of sharing dishes.

Darby’s love nothing more than for their guests to get together around a big table, sharing spectacular roasts, the very best prime steaks and the highest quality fish direct from the Cornish coast.
